- All bookings must be made through our physical office, official website, email, or authorized booking partners. 

- Full payment is required to secure a reservation. 

- A booking confirmation will be sent via email upon receipt of payment and all required information.

BOOKING PROCESS

- Review the Activity Information and agree to the Activity Policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

- Provide the required guest details and sign the Waiver of Liability to confirm your reservation.

- Complete your payment via cash, PayPal, GCash, bank transfer, or credit card to secure your slot.

- Receive your Booking Confirmation, which includes payment details, agreed-upon policies, and the guest orientation packet.

GROUP & PRIVATE EXPEDITIONS

- To maintain sustainable operations, Group expeditions are subject to the minimum number of seven (7) participants. If the minimum is not met, guests may opt for rescheduling, upgrading to a private expedition at an adjusted rate, or receiving a full refund.


PAYMENT METHODS

- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, GCash, or PayPal.

- All transaction fees must be shouldered by the guest.


REBOOKING POLICY

Trip Cancellations Due to Force Majeure

E.G. Sea travel ban due to gale warning, typhoons, heavy monsoons, rainstorms, etcetera

Same-day cancellation

Sea travel bans cannot be predicted or determined in advance. The Philippine Coast Guard typically announces bans due to inclement weather around 7 AM on the same day.

NO REFUND

Alternative options available:

  1. Reschedule the trip within the next seven (7) days for free
  2. Receive transferable travel credit/ fund valid for 36 months. 
Company-Initiated Cancellations Due to Unresolved Safety Issues No time commitment since emergencies may occur anytime

Trip cancellations are always our last resort and will only occur if safety concerns cannot be resolved in time despite ALL POSSIBLE EFFORTS.

RESOLUTIONS AVAILABLE:

  1. Reschedule the trip to any preferred date. 
  2. Receive transferable travel credit/ fund valid for 36 months. 
  3. Opt for a transfer to a reputable company offering a similar experience, plus a 10% refund. 
  4. Full refund
Company-Initiated Cancellations Due to Inability to reach the minimum number of SEVEN (7) confirmed guests

Unfortunately, our expeditions require a minimum of seven (7) guests to operate sustainably. Trips with fewer than seven participants cannot cover the operational costs and will not be able to proceed.

At least 3 days before departure RESOLUTIONS AVAILABLE:

  1. Reschedule the trip to any preferred date. 
  2. Receive transferable travel credit/ fund valid for 36 months. 
  3. Opt for a transfer to a reputable company offering a similar experience, plus a 10% refund. 
  4. Participants may choose to cover the cost equivalent to a full group of seven (7) pax to proceed with the trip. Participants who do not wish to contribute to the additional cost may cancel and receive a full refund.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

- Guests must provide accurate personal details upon booking.

- Any new special dietary or medical requirements not declared at the time of reservation must be communicated via email or WhatsApp at least 48 hours before departure.

- Guests must comply with local environmental regulations and responsible tourism guidelines.

TRAVEL INSURANCE & LIABILITY

- Guests are highly encouraged to secure comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

- Viaje del Sol shall not be held liable for losses, injuries, or damages beyond its control.

CHILDREN & SENIOR TRAVELERS

- Children below twelve (12) years old are not allowed on expedition tours for safety reasons.

- Senior travelers (60+ years old) must ensure they are fit for the trip and may be required to present a medical clearance.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

- Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

- Viaje del Sol reserves the right to refuse service to guests who fail to comply with the policies.
